Sixty deserves a proper party. Get the invite right for old friends, family and colleagues - and let everyone reply from one link.

A 60th often brings together people from every chapter of someone's life: school friends, old colleagues, neighbours, siblings and grandchildren. That's what makes it special, and also what makes the guest list hard to manage.

Many of those guests haven't met each other, live in different places and plan their diaries in different ways. A single invite page gives them all the same information, lets them reply in seconds, and gives you one guest list instead of a dozen threads.

How it works

  1. 1. Pick a design and add your details

Choose a template, then add the date, venue and anything guests need to know. It takes a few minutes.

  2. 2. Share one link

Send it by email, text or WhatsApp, or let Invitify email your guest list for you.

  3. 3. Watch the replies come in

RSVPs, dietary needs and plus-ones land in one guest list, with reminders sent for you.

Planning tips

Send invites 6 weeks ahead

Guests at a 60th are often juggling grandchildren, holidays and travel. Six weeks is a good default; for a party abroad or a weekend away, send a save-the-date three months out.

Set the RSVP two to three weeks before

Venues and caterers for milestone parties usually want final numbers two weeks out. A deadline three weeks ahead leaves time to chase the stragglers.

Collect menu choices with the RSVP

If it's a sit-down dinner, add meal options to the RSVP form. You'll get choices and allergies in one go rather than a second round of messages.

Think about overnight guests

If people are travelling, mention nearby hotels, taxi numbers or the last train home. It's a small detail that makes a big difference to whether they come.

Plan for speeches

If family or friends want to say a few words, mention it in the invite so people can prepare - and decide in advance how long the speeches will run.

Be clear about plus-ones and children

With guests from many parts of someone's life, it's easy for numbers to creep up. State plainly whether partners and children are included.

Pick one, add your details, and share. You can switch designs at any time before you publish.

Common questions

How far in advance should 60th birthday invitations go out?

Around six weeks before the party for a local event. If guests need to travel, book hotels, or it's a weekend away, send a save-the-date three months ahead and the full invitation six to eight weeks before.

What should a 60th birthday invitation say?

Include the name of the person celebrating, the host, date, start and end time, venue address, dress code, RSVP deadline and any meal choices. If it's a surprise, say so clearly and give an earlier arrival time.

Should I collect meal choices on the RSVP?

Yes, if it's a sit-down meal. Collecting meal choices and dietary requirements with the RSVP saves a second round of messages and gives the venue exactly what they need.

How do I invite people I've lost touch with?

Ask close family and old friends to share the invite link with people they're still in contact with. Because it's one link, you don't need everyone's email address to reach them, and every reply lands in the same guest list.

Can guests RSVP without creating an account?

Yes. Guests open the link, reply and add any notes - no sign-up needed.
