Will you attend?
Fiftieth birthdays tend to be big ones. A party at a hired venue, a dinner for close friends, a long weekend somewhere, or a surprise organised behind someone's back. The guests are usually busy people with full diaries, children at home and plenty of other invitations.
That makes a clear invite and a firm RSVP deadline worth their weight in gold. One link with all the details means fewer 'what time was it again?' messages, and a single guest list means you know exactly who's coming when the venue asks for numbers.
How it works
1. Pick a design and add your details
Choose a template, then add the date, venue and anything guests need to know. It takes a few minutes.
2. Share one link
Send it by email, text or WhatsApp, or let Invitify email your guest list for you.
3. Watch the replies come in
RSVPs, dietary needs and plus-ones land in one guest list, with reminders sent for you.

Planning tips
Send invites 6–8 weeks ahead
Fifty-somethings' calendars fill up fast, and many guests will need to arrange childcare or travel. Six to eight weeks gives people a fair chance to say yes.
Say if it's adults only
If you'd rather it was a child-free evening, say so kindly but clearly in the invite. It's much easier than explaining once someone has already said they're bringing the kids.
Set the RSVP three weeks before
Venues hired for milestone parties usually want final numbers around two weeks before. A deadline three weeks out leaves time to follow up.
Share the plan for the evening
Add a short running order - drinks, dinner, speeches, dancing - so guests know when to arrive, when to eat, and when it's polite to leave.
Help with getting home
Add parking notes, local taxi numbers and the last train time. At a party that runs late, it's often the deciding factor for guests who live further away.
Keep a surprise surprising
If it's a surprise, make the event private, give guests an earlier arrival time and keep updates on the invite page, not in a group chat that might get forwarded.

Common questions
How far in advance should you send 50th birthday invitations?
Six to eight weeks before the party. If it's a weekend away or guests need to travel, send a save-the-date three months ahead so people can book accommodation.
What should a 50th birthday invitation include?
Whose birthday it is, the host, date and times, venue address, dress code, RSVP deadline and whether children or plus-ones are invited. Add a running order for the evening if there's dinner, speeches or entertainment.
How do I say 'adults only' politely?
Keep it warm and matter-of-fact: 'We love your little ones, but this is a grown-ups' night out - we hope you'll enjoy an evening off!' Putting it in the invite itself avoids awkward conversations later.
How do I keep a surprise 50th a secret?
Make the invite private so it can't be found, ask guests to arrive before the guest of honour, and post any changes on the invite page rather than in group chats. Tell guests clearly that it's a surprise in the first line.
Can guests RSVP without creating an account?
Yes. Guests reply from the link in a few seconds - no account or app needed.
