Wedding invitations carry more pressure than most events. You're not just telling people where to be - you're managing guest numbers, dietary requirements, plus-ones, family expectations, venue deadlines, and a hundred tiny details that all need to line up.

An online RSVP page gives everything a proper home. Guests can reply from one link, you can collect the details you actually need, and your guest list stays organised without chasing replies through texts, emails, and group chats.

How it works

  1. 1. Pick a design and add your details

Choose a template, then add the date, venue and anything guests need to know. It takes a few minutes.

  2. 2. Share one link

Send it by email, text or WhatsApp, or let Invitify email your guest list for you.

  3. 3. Watch the replies come in

RSVPs, dietary needs and plus-ones land in one guest list, with reminders sent for you.

Planning tips

Send invites early

For most weddings, send invitations 8–12 weeks before the day. If guests are travelling, booking accommodation, or coming from overseas, aim for 4–6 months ahead.

Set a clear RSVP deadline

Your RSVP deadline should usually be 3–4 weeks before the wedding. That gives you time to confirm final numbers with the venue, caterer, and anyone helping with seating plans.

Be specific about plus-ones

Wedding plus-ones can get awkward quickly. Make it clear whether the invitation is for one guest, a named couple, or a guest plus partner. Clarity avoids uncomfortable follow-ups later.

Collect dietary requirements upfront

Ask guests about allergies, dietary restrictions, and meal preferences in the RSVP form. It is much easier to collect this early than to chase individual messages close to the day.

Include the full schedule

Add ceremony time, reception time, arrival guidance, and any important gaps between events. Guests should know exactly where they need to be and when.

Add travel and parking details

Include the venue address, parking notes, public transport tips, taxi guidance, or accommodation suggestions. These details reduce last-minute questions on the day.

Keep your RSVP form simple

Ask for the details you genuinely need: attendance, guest names, dietary requirements, meal choices, plus-one information, and any optional song requests or notes.

Send a gentle reminder

A reminder before the RSVP deadline catches the people who meant to reply but forgot. Keep it warm, polite, and easy to act on.

Pick one, add your details, and share. You can switch designs at any time before you publish.

Common questions

How far in advance should I send wedding invitations?

For a local wedding, 8–12 weeks before the day is standard. If guests need to travel, book accommodation, arrange childcare, or fly internationally, send invitations 4–6 months ahead where possible.

When should the RSVP deadline be for a wedding?

A good wedding RSVP deadline is usually 3–4 weeks before the wedding. This gives you enough time to confirm final numbers with your venue and caterer, complete your seating plan, and follow up with anyone who has not replied.

What should a wedding RSVP page include?

A wedding RSVP page should include the couple's names, wedding date, ceremony and reception details, venue address, RSVP deadline, dress code, dietary requirements, plus-one details, and any travel or accommodation notes guests need.

Should I allow plus-ones at my wedding?

That depends on your guest list, budget, and venue size. The important thing is to decide before invitations go out and make the wording clear. Guests should know whether their invitation is individual, for a named couple, or includes a plus-one.

Should I collect dietary requirements on the wedding RSVP?

Yes. If food is being served, collect dietary requirements and allergies as part of the RSVP. It helps your caterer prepare properly and avoids stressful last-minute messages close to the wedding.

Can guests RSVP to a wedding without creating an account?

Yes. Guests can open the invite link and submit their wedding RSVP without creating an account.
