18th Birthday Invitations & RSVPs

An 18th is a rite of passage. Get the guest list, the venue rules and the lift home sorted with one invite link.

An 18th birthday is usually planned by two people with very different priorities: the person turning 18, who wants a great party, and a parent who wants to know exactly who's coming and how they're getting home.

A clear invite page keeps both happy. Guests reply from a link they can open in any chat app, the host gets a real guest list rather than a rumour of numbers, and venue rules like ID or a strict finish time are written down for everyone to see.

How it works

  1. 1. Pick a design and add your details

Choose a template, then add the date, venue and anything guests need to know. It takes a few minutes.

  2. 2. Share one link

Send it by email, text or WhatsApp, or let Invitify email your guest list for you.

  3. 3. Watch the replies come in

RSVPs, dietary needs and plus-ones land in one guest list, with reminders sent for you.

Copy any of these into your invite and make it your own.

Party
Leo is turning 18! Come and celebrate at Riverside Rowing Club on Saturday 26 June, 7pm until 11.30pm. Food, a DJ and a bar. Please RSVP by 12 June.
Venue rules
The venue will be checking ID at the bar, so bring photo ID if you'd like a drink. The party finishes at 11.30pm sharp - please arrange your lift home.
Family and friends
Family are invited from 7pm for food and the cake; the music gets louder from 9. Come for whichever part suits you!
Guest-list only
This is a guest-list party, so please don't share the link or bring extra friends. If you'd like to bring someone, ask Leo first.

Planning tips

Send invites 3–4 weeks ahead

Sixth-formers' weekends fill up with work shifts, exams and other parties. Three to four weeks' notice is enough for friends; give family a little longer.

Keep the guest list closed

Make the event private and ask guests not to share the link. An invite page with named replies makes it far easier to control numbers than a group-chat invitation.

Write down the venue rules

If there's ID at the bar, a strict finish time or a no-under-18s policy for part of the night, say so in the invite. It saves arguments at the door.

Share a clear finish time

Give the exact end time and any pick-up instructions so parents can plan lifts and taxis. 'Late' isn't a time.

Ask about dietary needs

Teenagers rarely mention allergies unless asked. A dietary field in the RSVP picks them up before you finalise the food.

Send a reminder

A reminder a week before, with the address and finish time, reduces no-shows and late messages asking where to go.

Pick one, add your details, and share. You can switch designs at any time before you publish.

Common questions

How far in advance should 18th birthday invitations go out?

Three to four weeks for friends. If grandparents or relatives are travelling, send their invites a little earlier or give them a heads-up by phone.

What should an 18th birthday invitation include?

The name, date, start and exact finish time, venue address, dress code, RSVP deadline, and any venue rules such as ID at the bar or a closed guest list. Add pick-up instructions if guests are being collected.

How do I stop an 18th birthday party being gatecrashed?

Use a private invite, ask guests not to share the link, and check replies against the guest list. Don't post the address publicly on social media, and tell the venue the party is guest-list only.

Should parents be at an 18th birthday party?

Many families do both: relatives come for food and the cake early on, then the evening is for friends. Putting the running order in the invite makes it clear who's expected when.

Can guests RSVP without creating an account?

Yes. Guests open the link and reply in seconds - no sign-up needed.
