Sending invites and reminders
How invitations go out, and how the automatic reminder schedule works.
When you publish your event, Invitify can send your invite automatically to everyone on your guest list by email (and SMS, if you enabled it during setup).
Reminder schedule
Reminders you enabled during the RSVP settings step are scheduled automatically based on your event date and RSVP deadline. Each reminder has a status:
- Scheduled - the reminder is queued and will be sent at the right time.
- Sent - the reminder has gone out to your guests.
- Failed - something went wrong sending the reminder. Check that your guest's email address is correct and try resending if the option is available.
Guests who have already responded still receive event reminders unless you turn that reminder off, since reminders can also include useful event-day information like location and timing.
You can review and adjust which reminders are still scheduled from your event's settings, right up until each reminder is due to send.
