A guest isn't receiving invite or reminder emails

Common reasons emails don't arrive, and how to get a guest back on track.

If a guest says they haven't received your invite or a reminder, work through these checks in order.

1. Check the email address

Open your event's guest list and confirm the email address is spelled correctly. A single typo is the most common cause of missing invites - see "Fixing an incorrect guest email address" if you need to correct it.

2. Ask the guest to check spam or promotions folders

Invitify emails can occasionally land in spam or promotions folders, especially for the first email from a new sender. Ask your guest to search their inbox for "Invitify" or your event name.

3. Check the reminder status

If a scheduled reminder shows as Failed in your event's settings, the email didn't go out. Correct the guest's email address and check whether a resend option is available.

4. Share your invite link directly

As a fallback, you can always copy your event's invite link from the dashboard and send it to your guest yourself - by text message, messaging app, or any channel that works for them. They can RSVP from the link without needing the original email.
